Offering panoramic views, the family-run Richter Hotel features an outdoor pool and a sunbathing area. The Zugspitze Railway is just 5 km away, where trains run to the peak of Germany’s highest mountain. We had the room in the top floor with the balcony. The room was small but very cosy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the view amazing. We really enjoyed the balcony where you could sit enjoying the view. Very well decorated both the room and the guesthouse in general. The breakfast is excellent with fresh products every day. It really feels like home. We appreciated the afternoon sweets and coffee/ tea that are offered in the common area as well as the fridge with local beer that you can get anytime. Nice garden, parking spots outside the building. The location is very good with good restaurants in walking distance and the train station and bus to Garmich.

Appartements Gladbach is located in Heiterwang in the Zugspitz Arena Ski Area, 1 km from Lake Heiterwang. It offers free Wi-Fi and a spa with an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The free ski bus stops right outside. Very spacious, modern and clean apartment. Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. whirlpool, pool and sauna are also very clean and comfortable. Brötchenservice nearly every days is also a plus

A table tennis room, a children’s room and a playground are also available. The guest house features a lawn for sunbathing with direct access to the indoor pool. Guided canyoning and rafting tours are offered. A free hiking program is featured from May until October. I loved everything!!! Proximity to delicious restaurants,stores, and ski lift with ski school for all my kids. Also the pool and ski storage room with boot warmers was a huge plus! We enjoyed the pool and room with Mountain View’s and fireplace after a long day of skiing. This place is absolutely PERFECT for a family ski/relax vacation!
