The staff here are amazing and so friendly. It's quite a long drive off the N2 on gravel roads but don't be put off as it's worth the adventure. The facilities are great and it's a really peaceful getaway in the Tsitsikamma area, a proper spa retreat. The wildlife around the lodge is incredible, particularly the birds but just watch out for monkeys - they're fun but love an easy meal of given the option!! Spa facilities are really good and the hot tubs over looking the river gorge are special. Thank you to Marius, Tinashe and Annalyne for looking after us - you were such great hosts.

A fabulous location, incredibly friendly, lovely staff and a very interesting accomodation. Heating worked well, and electric blankets appreciated as it was very cold. Breakfast was delicious, homemade muffins, fresh orange juice and great eggs.

Nice and quiet place. The owners are really nice, they even made a braai for us one night for a very reasonable price and we had a lovely meal together!
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
We had a lovely stay for two nights in cottage 1. The cottage is private, in a beautiful garden and we could make us of the swimming pool.
Tilly is very helpful and friendly. On our second day there was no electricity due to a problem with a power line (not the fault of Tilly). Tilly helpt us out by making diner for us. The last morning we had a good and big breakfast in the restaurant which is next to the cottage.
Host was exceptional. She checked in with us regularly, spoiled us with cake and was always on hand if we had a question. Cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need for a few nights away from home. Wifi, DSTV and Netflix was available and electric blankets and extra warm goodies for when the weather turns cold. A great garden to walk around in and an outdoor braai for the cottage completed an already great stay! Great food at the little restaurant and the fire was always crackling. We will be back.
