I liked the whole experience of staying here, but most of all the staff made it special. The tent was clean and comfortable to stay in, a special mention must go to the bed which was exceptionally comfortable. To my mind the food was excellent as well.
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The location is wonderful. I love how the chalets are integrated into the natural surroundings. We saw animals every morning & evening in the resort & at the pool. No noise, no music, very calm & peaceful.Love that we could use the hotels facilities aswell.
The kitchen is SO WELL STOCKED for a self catering stay!
Private, equipe self-catering units for the perfect family bush break-away. Close to Kruger gate swimming pool and restaurant. Friendly staff and handle you like a VIP.
The original room we booked they were not able to give us but we had a family room in the main part of the hotel. Great room, very comfortable beds. Close to the reception and a short walk to the bar, the breakfast dining area, the evening dining boma (great design and fantastic food options) and the then the infinity pool overlooking Kruger. Saw elephants out by the river and other days baboons and various bird life
Very good location to visit Kruger Park as it is located at the Paul Kruger Gate and you have access to the very nice Lapa/restaurant of the Kruger Gate Hotel, their coffee shop and safari tours. Nice pool area.
Very well equipped chalets! Everything seems new.
This was our 4th stay at Burchells Bush Lodge. The chalets are a little old and worn, but are sparkling clean and well equipped. It is perfect for a family with young children, with a swimming pool and hotel facilities on the same property. It is ideally located for entry to Kruger Park.
magical place in the middle of the south african bush. beautiful experience having breakfast or swimming in the pool while animals are grazing 50m away.
The common areas are beautiful and so are the cabins, which are very well appointed, extremely friendly staff, personal attention and focus on detail. The game drives and the bush walk were very good, even saw leopards and lions. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast and outstanding dinner served outdoors around and open fire.
