Serendipity, tranquility and extremely remote. I love nature and the outdoors, we had an amazing 4x4 experience finding our way up too the lodge, we had the most beautiful views of the mountains, and the hosts were exceptionally kind, which is new too us because hosts normally don't check in with guests during their stay. Very friendly staff.

The cleanliness of the rooms, the good breakfast, die pool and gym, the fact that we had 2 x rooms next to each other, the coffee/tea in the rooms, very neat bathrooms, clean linen and very friendly and helpful staff members

Peaceful, tranquil and private, a real hidden gem. Cottages right on the river with an abundance of bird life, a nature lovers dream with all the comfort and luxuries to go along with it. The sunsets over the river from the cottage patio are spectacular in the evening and we enjoyed the scenic drive through the citrus farms, paddles on their canoe and beautiful scenic swimming pool.

Beautiful lodge in a perfect setting with amazing facilities including terrace, private garden, brai, hot tub and jetty on the river with our own kayak. There is also a nice communal pool in the grounds. The safari they run is excellent

Very welcoming staff. Lovely breakfasts. Close enough to Addo to visit easily. We stayed in Whyte cottage which was very comfortable. The pool was super.

The facilities were astoundingly beautiful and had everything we needed including a lovely swimming pool and canoe to go on the river with. The owner was incredibly helpful with a personal matter and went above and beyond to try to help us resolve our issues. All details were taken care of by owner including food and explicit instructions on how to get there (which were very helpful). The have one of the best breakfasts we had on our entire trip and we felt very safe there.

Beautiful setting along the Sundays river. Peaceful retreat in nature with lovely gardens, swimming pool, and walks along the river and in nearby lemon orchards. Wonderful owners who were so helpful and gave their fullest attention to my comfort.

Everything is to like! Sophie our host was exceptional,kind and friendly. We stayed in the luxury tent. Fished from the deck, with beautiful sunsets. Canoeing on the river, then swimming in the pool overlooking the river. Already missing the beauty and peace and planning our next stay here in one of the modern chalets with jacuzzi. Thank you Sophie.

I Enjoyed the quiet and safe neighbourhood. Even on public holidays the restaurant was prepared to offer various menu choices. Very friendly staff. The swimming pool is very well designed and a real treat on hot days. Lots of areas to sit and do work or just relax. Plenty clean pool towels and reading nook near the pool. My Air condition room was comfortable and roomy with a nice modern large shower. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Very good security measures. In room bar fridge is stocked with some snacks available to purchase.

Our room was perfectly comfortable and we enjoyed the swimming pool, as well as the outdoor seating area where we could have drinks, play cards and eat our meal. The on-site restaurant is the only place one can eat in town (and it is closed on Sundays), and the meals were good. I was really grateful that our Sunday night dinner was at least dealt with as far as plates, wine etc. was concerned.
