It is close to the Saratoga Springs park. The swimming pool and Hot tub looked nice although we didnt use it. The room had a microwave and fridge. The view around the hotel is nice.
The hotel had good sized rooms, comfortable beds and large communal areas. The swimming pool was big and the jacuzzi pleasant. There we’re outside fire pits lit every evening with chairs and tables nearby to relax in. Parking was immediately to the front of the property. The grounds were well kept.
We visited the casino but it was not the focus of our stay.
The hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Saratoga, the racetrack and it borders Congress Park. There is also a free shuttle that will take you to the track and around town. The pools were nice also indoor and outdoor.
Value for money was excellent. Room was clean and neat, breakfast was fantastic, and the swimming pool was lovely. For the price we paid, we were extremely impressed with the facilities. Of course, some things are a little old, but they are clean and in working order. This was our return trip from a week away in New York City. We returned from NYC to Albany via Amtrak, then grabbed our car and drove to Saratoga Springs (only about 30 mins away).
Lovely large clean room. Hotel had a beautiful indoor swimming pool. There was a shuttle that you could take late afternoon to get into the centre of town, otherwise it is best to drive.
We liked the hotel facilities as they provided for all requirements from laundry, meals, bar, shuttle service and swimming pool. Our room was at the end of a hall and the WiFi signal was weak and dropped out a bit, despite the IT staff's best endeavours. They did make an allowance for this on our bill so we appreciated that.
Its now my secret place & I'm afraid it may become too crowded. I may have just been lucky! At times the place was so quiet with only a few people it was like it was my very own place with the a huge swimming pool just for me. I'd give this hotel a Ten but then it won't be just mine for long. The reason I'm doing this review is that the workers there were so friendly & deserve a bravo!
