Looking for a hotel with pools?

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.

The room was a nice size and included a mini frig, Keurig style coffee maker, good WiFi. Also had a patio door connecting to a walkway to pool and private tavern that was part of the property. Very nice host who met me upon arrival to provide access code to my room and were responsive to a text requesting additional coffee.

Small and cute hotel with around 10 suites. View of the lake was amazing, and room stayed cool even in the heat of June. Very quiet. We definitely took advantage of the hot tub to relax the legs.

All, except the pool was under construction and there was no microwave in the room.

The hosts were friendly and available if we needed something (pool towels, extra coffee). The room was up steep stairs but no issue for us. It was clean and peaceful and had a nice patio (room 1). We enjoyed the small pool and the tavern room stocked with drinks and snacks which is a nice idea. Parking was easy at the bottom of the stairs. Location is close to main part of town.

If you like historical hotels with ghost stories, then this 19th century charmer is perfect. The rooms are cozy (yes, that means small); the breakfasts are delicious; the staff friendly & helpful. Maybe it's not your style (no TV, no pool, no spa) but if you came to enjoy Julian and the surrounding area, you are probably have no need for those amenities.

We love the room including the comfortable bed, the shower & well equipped bathroom, the decor and the atmosphere. The continental breakfast was great- especially the chocolate croissant, and we enjoyed the lovely dining area with the view of he lake. The manager/ staff was very nice. We also enjoyed the games room - had not played pool in years.
