The assortment of breakfast items was great; lots of selection, fresh fruit, oatmeal, breads for toasting, DIY waffles, etc. Delicious coffee. Clean service area. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly, and helpful. The hotel is well-maintained, clean hallways, elevators, etc. Comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, lots of fluffy towels. Easy freeway access and to other shops (Costco, BevMo, In-N-Out). Quiet location despite proximity to fwy. Recommend and would stay there again.

We had a fantastic time here. Randy, at the front desk, really helped start our mini vacation out wonderfully. He exceeded our expectations in customer service, well done! The room was super clean and the pool had bar service which after a long week of working, a mai tai at the pool was all I wanted (and that mai tai was delish)! The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing!! Beach, boats, restaurants, shopping all a few steps away. We will be back and we’ll bring our kids next time.
Great Location—on the harbor. Walk next door and along harbor for lots of restaurants choices, beach shops and water sports.

I woke to a foggy morning (after a beautiful sunny day the day before). The staff gave me late checkout as I was hoping to take a swim before I departed. I shared the pool w/ a “local”—see photos ;)
Decent breakfast; kids enjoyed making the waffles themselves.
We stayed in Dana Point for a whale/dolphin watch tour the next morning and the hotel was very conveniently located for that (walking distance).
Pool/hot tub were nice.
The breakfast was good. I was happy with the room, except the floor was dirty and the bathroom was very small and cramped. Also, there wasn't a swimming pool.
