Our stay at El Cid Villa in Koh Samui was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the stunning viewpoint from our private pool and the main bedroom – it was nothing short of magical.
The real highlight of our stay, however, was the incredible hospitality of the hosts, Reynold and Nikki. Upon our arrival, we encountered an issue where we couldn't find our friend who was supposed to meet us at the villa. Reynold went above and beyond, searching for him until he was found. This set the tone for our entire week. Reynold and Nikki were always available and incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way. They truly are the heart and soul of this property.
During our stay, Reynold showcased his grilling skills by cooking us dinner twice, and Nikki's breakfasts were eagerly anticipated each morning. Their culinary expertise added an extra special touch to our experience.
The location of El Cid Villa offers breathtaking views, which do come with a bit of a challenge in terms of accessibility. However, Reynold made everything easier by organizing taxis and helping us rent scooters, which we thoroughly enjoyed riding up and down from the villa, making us feel like locals.
If you're looking for a stay that's right in the middle of all the island action, this might not be the place for you. But if you seek tranquility and some of the most beautiful views imaginable, El Cid Villa is perfect. While it does take a longer journey to reach places like Chaweng, we found the peace and stunning scenery well worth it.
Overall, we loved our time at El Cid Villa and can't wait to return in the future. Highly recommended for a relaxing and picturesque getaway.

Absolutely everything!! Outstanding place to stay our second time here in 6 months. The place is modern beautifully clean and the staff are just exceptional beyond words. Jan in management he is just incredible and all staff follow they are happy so friendly and cannot do enough and I can’t say enoug!! Food is great 2 hours of happy hour daily you will never want to leave….we will be back for a 3rd no doubt!!

This beach villa was incredible and offered fantastic value for the stunning view. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, going the extra mile by noticing both of our birthdays from our passports and surprising us with birthday cakes on two occasions – a thoughtful, personal gesture. Toward the end of our stay, a lightbulb blew in our room, which wasn’t a big issue for us, but to apologize, they treated us to a floating breakfast/lunch by our pool. It was such a generous touch, especially since we hadn’t complained. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Koh Samui looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The beach was almost entirely ours for the whole week!

The entire stay was excellent right from the time of check-in. The staff were very warm and the service was excellent. Special thanks to guest relations manager Alla giving us recommendations and ensuring every request of ours was taken care. Special mention to restaurant staff Toi and Smile for genuinely taking care of our dietary needs. Thanks to the house keeping staff and the every smiling front desk valets.

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
It is very close to the sea and nathon pier so you are well connected and can easily go for a swim directly from there. Room with a window to the sea which is wonderfull.
We ordered food which was freshly cooked by the staff and was delicious. We were really impressed. Very tasty and flavorfull and not expensive. Staff very friendly and helpfull
The property was absolutely stunning! From the moment we walked through the doors, my partner and I were in awe of the Villa. Everything was fresh and modern and the pool was amazing. What really made our stay was the kind hospitality service from Renold and Nikki. They cooked our meals for us and even went to the shops to deliver our groceries.
This was our favourite stay on Koh Samui and we wish we had stayed longer!
It's directly at the beach in a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Don't expect luxury, but you'll spend most of the time outdoors anyways. The staff is really friendly and has been perfectly helpful. Thank you for the pleasant time :)
Very friendly staff, fresh clean spacious room with very comfortable bed. Directly on the sea so beautiful views of Nathon beach and harbour and the distant five Islands. I recommend the balcony sea view rooms on the top floor to avoid road noise.

Super cool owner, really goes out of his way to ensure we all have the best time possible. He does little things like waking up very early and cleaning the beach each day so the view can be appreciated from the pleasant outdoor seating. He's also very kind, he speaks good English and can chat with him.

The sea was just over the streat - but not for swimming purpose. Therefore you had to walk like 3 minutes to reach Nathon Beach.
The Hotel was near the Nightmarket and the Nathon Pier.
This was even more amazing than the pictures showed in advance.
Nikki and Reynold are the most amazing staff. The set up of the Villa is just spectacular and Reynold is an expert in regards to a private barbecue at night by the pool. The lights at night and the sounds of nature are just mesmerizing. We already decided to come back next year summer.
We have been to several villas on Samui but none of them could beat this view and coziness of this villa. A special thanks to Nikki and Reynold for their amazing hospitality
