The Jasper hotel is very decent and certainly in the context of hotels in Ban Phai, which has limited choice of quality. The rooms were clean and sizable, plenty of parking and a pool.

It is a hotel in what I would call a part of Thailand that didn't change in 30 years. So don't expect a fluent English speaking staff or any other language. The hotel is not situated 500 m from the center but about 3km, so transport taxi, tuktuk, buffalo are mandatory. The room is big, too big in my opinion, and there is a small pool to cool down in. When you enter the lobby the airco is blazing and you can buy some drinks from the "restaurant".

A really great value for money hotel on the outskirts of Khon Kaen. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very big but a little dated, the bed was comfortable. It is a few KM to the city centre but taxis and Grabs were easy and cheap. Very nice swimming pool, clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a good choice and fresh.
Clean & spacious room (quiet except the pool party night which the noise was up to 11 pm--but they announced ahead), the smiling & efficient staff, big lobby with plenty of comfortable seats, and the good gym (not big but very adequate). The breakfast looked adequate although I didn't take it because of my IF. And, the swimming pool looked very fine too--big, clean and well-equipped shower/locker rooms underground.
In the perfect location, big room which was cleaned everyday. For £32 a night including buffett breakfast of thai & english for two people was excellent. This is a hotel straight from the 1970s but really clean with a great swimming pool.

This is a proper rather big hotel, which boasts to have everything that such hotels have. The room was very pleasant: sparlking clean, with a balcony, comfy beds, regular cleaning, very nice shower that had a good water pressure. They also have their own restaurant and a pool bar, a swimming pool.
At first sight the hotel looked good with the room at poolside and the room looked nice and big, also big bathroom with bath tub and separate shower.
We just dropped off bags and went straight out so couldn’t really check.
Breakfast was nice… lots of eggs choices and other choices.
Swimming pool was good, lots of kids playing in the morning.
