The suites were a great size, and the view from them over the bay was incredible.
I was there in the rainy season, and there were not many guests, which was great.
Next time, I will try the two bed villas.

I had a wonderful time and left feeling like I was part of the family. It is more of a home stay than just a hotel as the owners and family live on the beautiful grounds. Do take the cooking class as they will take you around the property and show you all the wonderful things they grow on site (Thai cherries, star fruit, ginger, many many herbs!) They have a beautiful outdoor kitchen where you will prepare the dishes for your meal.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Just walk past the gate and you feel like you are in the country far from town. There is a stream that runs throughout. A beautiful swimming pool. They have a pet water buffalo, Kunai which means Diva in Thai. At night there is no noise of any cars or traffic - all you hear are the frogs and insects making the most beautiful night music.
My visit was extended because I caught the flu and they took such wonderful care of me, bringing soup and ginger tea to my room. Judy and her family are kind, caring warm hearted people. I definitely plan on returning.

What a little gem, compact but beautifully elegant, impeccably decorated and centrally located to walk to the town centre and several restaurants.
Communication from the start excellent and offers of assistance most welcome. Staff outstanding on every level and happy to offer lots of assistance and suggestions.
Wonderful little touches like handwritten notes on tomorrows weather accompanied by herbal evening tea and personalised breakfast menus.
Room compact but well appointed with small seating area and lounge, comfortable bed & pillows.
A little road noise, particularly motorbikes being located at the front of the property, not nothing a pair of ear plugs can't resolve.
Breakfast sunroom lovely, small but perfectly proportioned swimming pool and simply stunning library/reading room overlooking the pool and Koi pond. Whilst using the common areas, the staff are very quick to bring out complimentary fresh water and/or coffee if desired.
At the top end for room rates, but would highly recommend a stay, you won't be disappointed.
A men-only accommodation, Phuket Gay Homestay is situated in Kathu. Offering just 5 rooms, the property has an outdoorpool and drinks can be enjoyed at the bar.

Very private and relaxing. Hosts and staff were welcoming and friendly. Facilities were very domestic and comfortable. Also easy to travel to more urban areas for entertainment. Also a wonderful community pool party on Saturday.

The staff is great and very friendly, they offer coffee and toast in the morning. The place is renovated or brand new, the rooms are perfect. The pool has jacuzzi, there is a table to play some games outside, they even lent a speaker to play some music in the afternoon by the pool. The Tv is large and it works, the bed is extra large and super comfy! We ended up paying for one more night for the 4 of us, what an amazing hotel.

We had an excellent stay, the personnel are very friendly and helpful, the chalets were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
We arrived later than we had hoped to and were very well welcomed, the host made us a beautiful Pad Thai (the best we'd had all holiday!) with a freezing cold beer (soft drinks for the ladies!).
Next day we'd booked an excursion and were being picked up at the hotel so an excellent Thai breakfast was ready and waiting for us before we left.
The swimming pool is great, right in the middle of the chalets.
The only potential negative is that it's a bit out of the way and you need transport to get anywhere. Having said that Grabs are not expensive to the centre of town.
A great stay in a very comfortable hotel with excellent home-made cooking.

Kind host, spacious rooms, very nice and clean modern house
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
