One of the most special places we have stayed; the location, resort/retreat, staff, facilities, and food were above expectation. Octant really cared about us and not only met our special requests but exceeded our requirements having thought and care into each day we stayed - they surprised us with beautiful fruit plates, chacuterie plates, wines, water. The location is excellent: looking onto the church square. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated; it feels like being in a proper old school hotel, where you feel like every room is unique and you want to spend time in it (love that there’s only a small TV, for instance). The same goes for the house itself - the living room is cozy and invites to spend time there. The pool area is beautiful as well, with a view on the church tower. Perhaps some more plants or flowers would be good, but that’s just an extra. Everything was super clean, and staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Very hospitable, the owner even gave us some food on our arrival that she had cooked herself and we all found it amazing. She was very accepting of our Daughters who both have additional needs and treated them with kindness and respect. The breakfast was amazing, the smoothie out of this world and it was in a local bakery that had the most fabulous cakes and biscuits for sale. The pool was lovely and very private and all the animals around the Quinta were lovely too see and hear, goats milk was delicious.
