This was a fantastic place, we wish we had stayed another night! The view is amazing and we watched the sunrise from our terrace from our room in the morning and the sunset from the pool area while swimming and having a drink. The view in general is like being in space, so different and cool and soft shaped nature that makes you very calm.
Food was great and rooms so special and as they are all separate small houses you don't hear any noice. Very relaxing place both for body and mind.

Unlike in some of the larger more corporate run lodges we had a much more intimate experience at Etusis. We were greeted by the host (and their pet meerkat 🙂) and subsequently dined with our hosts and other guests around a single table (eating lovely home cooked food introduced to us by the lodge chef). After dinner we sat outside enjoying the tranquility while watching the bats and a nightjar catch insects in the glow of the waterhole floodlight. Our accommodation was comfortable and private, set within the mature gardens looking out towards nearby hills which we walked within. Our only regret was having booked for one night only.

We stayed in one of the Eco Cabins and it was fantastic! The interior was beautiful, someone with great design taste must have decorated it. It was spacious and had a great view over the hills, valley, sunset and stars at night. The kitchen was perfect with a two burner gas stove, refrigerator and all cooking wear you need. When we asked for a bigger knife to cut vegetables they immediately had one available. Shower was spacious and hot, bed was super comfy. We loved the patio in the evening with candles. Even had a little pool to hang your feet in. WIFI was available at the reception with a beautiful little sitting area. They also had a common pool, garden and some trails to walk. It was quiet and remote and just what we had been looking for. Road is doable by a 2x4 and it is about 1-1.5 hours to Spitzkoppe from there. We loved the self-sufficient eco thought behind the business. Highly recommended!

Secluded place surrounded by nature. Enjoyed our stay here. It's far from everything, so make sure to buy food in town. Uses donkey shower, so hot water for shower is not always readily available. Sunrise hike was worth it.

The place was beautiful, clean , well kept.
Quite isolated, surrounded by mountains, perfect spot to relax.
Super nice staff.
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The lodge sits in a beautiful valley, completely secluded and private. The rooms were private and well apointed. The food was excellent and served outside which was wonderful. The pool was lovely and the crazy golf super hard! We took a sundowner and saw springbok and zebra. The second day we rode horses up to the waterfall (dry at that time of year) which was a morning to remember. This hotel was one of the highlights of our holiday in Namibia. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
swimming pool area. the braai area was top notch. and woooow lil beautiful kitchen, the bedroom is soo cozy. i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove love everything at this place.
Gorgeous view of the mountains, lovely swimming pool. The room was lovely with views as well. Dinner was a braai and malva pudding - great combination! The boma with view of mountains was the best part of this place. Lovely drinks upon arrival with an ice cold cloth.
What a charming, chic cottage in a secluded valley surrounded by rugged Kalahari mountains. The property is well maintained with a lovely clean swimming pool.
We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended. We regretted not having booked more nights.
Philip, our friendly host is a very efficient professional young man.
Amazing location, nicely incorporated within the Spitzkoppe rocks formations, nice small swimming pool. Great breakfast and dinner. Nice rooms all separated. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was good. The cactii in the gardens were very tastefully arranged. Off the beaten track a bit...but better for it. Being able to horse ride in the evening and early morning was a real plus. Nice swimming pool with plenty of shade and fresh towels.
