When we arrived, the owners greeted us as if we were long lost friends. Friendly and efficient staff took us to our cottage and made sure we were comfortable. The room and it’s facilities were inviting, romantic and super clean. 10 out of 10 for the best mattress and good night’s sleep. Breakfast was amazing and sumptuous. The serenity and beauty of the surroundings can not be measured in stars.

African Dreams Guesthouse is located on a quiet, tree-shaded cul-de-sace. The grounds are lovely, green, with shade plants and an unheated pool. The cold water was lovely on a hot, dusty day. In the evening, the nearby bar/restaurant Stables was in walking distance. We enjoyed having air conditioning and a tv in the room. When we couldn't figure out how to change channels, the owner was friendly and helpful. There is a hot water kettle in the room, so we could make hot tea and coffee, and we were also thankful for the fridge. While freeze-dried coffee is common, we appreciated the brewed coffee at breakfast.
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.

Very friendly host. Gave us useful information about Etosha. Comfortable rooms. Swimming pool... although unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. Pleased to have a clothes airer that I could use after doing some washing.

Room 2 was private with a lovely patio where we spent most of our time. The pool is an asset and is cleaned daily. Shorty the owner is pleasant and made our stay comfortable as we enjoyed his knowledge and company. The rustic look of the facility was true Namibia and a must-stopover
The breakfast was great! - loved the coffee and the view of the dam from the restaurant.
There's also so much to do at the resort. You can go kayaking, take a walk to the dam, boat cruise (the sunsets were amazing) - as well as play a variety of board games or a game of pool/billiards at the reception/restaurant. We loved it!
On arrival, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave us info on where to park and the whereabouts of the room.
The room was large and clean. It had a huge bed, and it overlooked the swimming pool and the dam.
We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very nice.
Breakfast the next morning was good with plenty of choice.
Kitty and her husband were great to talk to. We would stay there again.
Great buffet breakfast, excellent dinner. Large room with air conditioning. Pool area was nice to relax in: water features around the outdoor dining area. Very friendly helpful staff.
