Find the hotels with pools that appeal to you the most
Looking for a hotel with pools?
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
- Outside of the Etosha park we only booked top rated (9+ on booking.com) lodges/guesthouses but Vingerklip was one of our most preferred ones and it was a wonderful place to relax for two days/nights
- Even the water was cold (as in all other places also) the kids loved the pool area
- We liked the trails
- The lodge has a beautiful atmosphere
- The manager was very friendly and gave us very helpful suggestions for Etosha
- The kids loved the ciabatta bread and even got the recipe :-)
An absolute paradise, surrounded by beautiful nature. We only stayed one night but wished we could have lingered for longer!
A lovely, clean chalet with a busy waterhole view - we saw a steady stream of Kudu, zebras, a warthog, guinea fowl and springbok, without leaving our terrace!
The views (and food) at the Eagle’s Nest are unbeatable, and well worth the climb.
Sparkling clean pool surrounded by a lovely, well maintained garden - pause for a minute and you will observe so much bird life.
Friendly staff who were very helpful, we loved the pool and kids play area. The room was comfortable and the views were fantastic. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent, it was a shame we were only staying one night.
This place still lingers in my mind. It’s so beautiful and the setting is so striking. The food was incredible, filet of kudu was outstanding, and dinner on the top of the rock (Eagles Nest) was such a breathtaking setting. The two pools, friendly staff and comfortable rooms were fantastic. The walks round the property, to Vingerklip rock and a trip zip lining at the nearest neighbouring lodge made this stay for our family. I loved it!
The location of the hotel is excellent, all rooms without exception offer an excellent view. The rooms are large, there is air conditioning and a fan, a swimming pool with excellent water. The food is good, the restaurant has a beautiful view of the surrounding area
Great lodge with two very nice swimming pools with a view. Had a very nice dinner/barbecue at the lodge's restaurant Eagle's Nest. Great experience watching the sunset on top of the plateau and then having dinner afterwards. Staff was super friendly!
This is absolutely a must do when traveling to Namibia. The lodge has sweeping views from the chalets, swimming pools and restaurant. The restaurant on top of the mountain is an easy 20 minute walk, but book in advance. Thanks to the hosts Heinard and Stephany. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable. They are an asset to this lodge. Because of them this lodge is run with excellence.
