This was our 3rd visit at the Maldives. RIU Atoll - All Inculsive**** was the best by far. We expected a 4 star hotel level, but it gave us much more. RIU has its own vibe. Its perhaps because of its unique location - the great 6-8 m deep lagoon right at the shore, or the people who were very friendly and helpful. They made our holiday not just great but exceptional. We stayed 7 days at a room with beach view (2 adults 1 child). It was spacious, comfy and always very clean. They cleaned the room every day. The house reef and laggon is gorgious and so fantastic. Just a few steps into the water, and an encounter with the sealife is assured. with 4 snorkeling we saw turtles, stingrays and blacktip sharks such as unicorn and box fishes etc. Hi five to the members of the scuba caribe dive center. They boughts us to unique dive spots, and our 8 y-old could do the boublemaker program wich was a lifetime experience to her. Special thanks to the entertaining team (especially to Chana and Prasad - who had always some nice words to us and to my doughter, the jokes and the laughs and the smiles), they came up with wide range of activities, such us water surface running (!) :D, yoga clases, kids night, full moon observation with a telescope (!) - a good one, etc. This was our best holiday - EVER!

Beautiful resort, very nice (and a lot of) staff, very clean and excellent support from a dedicated personal assistant. Resort is large enough to not feel crowded but small enough to be able to get everywhere very easily. Reasonable pricing for the stay, relatively to other comparable resorts, food can be expensive if not booked through half-board. Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing, the room was breath taking !! Buffet breakfast was sensational too. Loved that they even had mimosa's and bloody mary shots. Staff were super friendly. Highly recommend doing the wine tasting. All the restaurants were incredible. Beach, so blue, so warm, so full of life !! Loved swimming with the friendly baby sharks.

All In-Ocean villas are built apart from the island by the house reefs. Each In-ocean is spacious and each has an infinity pool. All villas have direct access to the beach and the ocean.
