I like that the villa has a fantastic view of the jungle. I enjoyed the sunrise view which is something money can't buy. The villa is new and a lot of effort has been put to ensure that comfort for the guests is top priority. The staff is very helpful and very friendly.

My time at Royal Kemala Villa was like a dream. The place was amazing, with beautiful views and so peaceful. It was a nice change from busy Ubud. It was perfect for chilling out and having some quiet time away from the usual tourist crowds.

Wonderful location, a short walk is necessary but it’s a very enjoyable walk adjacent to idyllic rice paddies.
Small compound of three independent two level villas. I enjoyed the design of the villas, a mixture of modern and traditional.

Stunningly beautiful location. Listening to the sounds of the paddies at night was like nature's orchestra at its finest. Room was large and bright, although the whole place is showing signs of wear. We loved how remote the location is and never waited longer than 10 minutes for a Grab.

I chose this property after selecting a filter for wheelchair accessibility. It was not wheelchair accessible. There were no ramps to the rooms, I needed to transfer to the floor and pull my chair or ask for help. The doors didn’t open wide enough for my wheelchair to fit in through. It’s a nice place but not recommended for someone with disability. They should either improve accessibility or remove this statement from the website. I struggled a lot. Also, we arrived at night. It takes 2 hrs drive from the airport, the reception was closed and nobody informed night guard about our arrival and we had to argue with him for a while to get us the room. It was quite stressful as it was middle of the night and we almost slept under the stars… the staff is nice in general and it’s a very pretty property. But for sure there is some work to be done.

Totally relaxing place, quiet, with natural night sounds from the forest and view on rice fields. And very nice swimming pool and massage, very friendly staff. Great after visiting busy Ubud & still you can get there by Gojek etc. I recommend that for those who like quiet atmosphere!

The swimming pool is absolutely stunning! We had the best time with our family of 2 adults and 2 kids under 4. Staff were friendly and so kind and accommodating, they were very sweet to our kids. Prices are super low and what you get is better than places 4 times the prices. Beautiful location out of the centre, loved it. Quick gojek or grab and you can head to tegallalang or local pool club for lunch. Will be back.

It’s amazing place to slow and feel peace. Location is in 20 minutes from Ubud in a very calm area right in the middle of Jungles. The staff was very kind and respectful. The garden and swimming pool just cool!
I loved the hospitable atmosphere: everyone truly made us feel like we are part of the family. The swimming pool is quite nice and well-maintained (special towels offered if you go for a swim) and the peace and quiet was fantastic: especially after the busy cities in Bali with so much traffic and impressions. They also served delicious food.
Our stay in that hotel was great! The staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel, swimming pool and surroundings are really beautifull. It's a unique experience to be able to sleep in the middle of the judgle with amazing views from the window. The hotel is also close to a nice watefrall, some rice terraces, and a couple of good restaurants.
