This is a very special place. I had visited Balian in 2014 for its perfect left hand break. This visit was to reset mentally. Balian Prana allowed us to do just this. Mr Dwi and his small team were welcoming, there when needed and absent when not required. We felt that for 2 lovely days, this place was ours. There was another family in the other presidential villa across and back from us, although we never really felt they were there. We ordered in from local restaurants, which was fine as there is no typical kitchen /room service other than for breakfast, but this was just fine. It added to the non-hotel, secluded feel which is what we were looking for. Our dinners ordered in were enjoyed on the balcony of the main house in which the attentive staff assisted us with setting up. All this while allowing our minds to run free as light danced off the swimming pool and ocean beyond from beautiful sunsets.

If you are staying in Balian I would highly recommend staying at Balian Beach Villa, whether for a short or long term stay. The owner has created a spacious, clean and comfortable traditional timber and stone villa. The gardens, outdoor areas and pool compliment it’s appeal. The villa is less than a 2 minutes walk to the beach and a number of excellent warungs, cafes and restaurants. The owner is a wealth of knowledge in all things Balian, surfing, best eateries, yoga, local attractions and always ready to help out/ answer questions if need be. The villa’s cleaning and gardening staff were excellent.
Selemadeg

This villa was a really nice surprise. The location is amazing, just above a beautiful beach. And the villa itself was nicely designed, very comfortable, and felt luxurious. Best of all, we had total privacy and could enjoy the pool and garden without interruption. We loved it so much that we are actually looking to book additional dates there.

The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Ayu, she helped us to accommodate our needs like a rent motor bike and also arrange our activity during stay. The place is great, it closes to nature that you may find some mosquitos, but there is a mosquitoes repellent you can spray to your hand. It smells nice, tho!
