Upon arrival the very very friendly daughter of the hotel-owning family checked us in. Before we even entered she had given us bottled water and took our luggage. She gave a lot of usefull info about the surroundings and things to do on Krete. The room was spacious and gorgeous, the same evening we booked another night there because the experience was so exceptional. Thanks you for letting us stay over!

Newly opened boutique hotel - everything was fresh and new! Decanter of Raki and snacks in our room when we arrived. Very tastelfully decorated, quiet, very clean and comfortable! Great location for walking Old Town Reythamon.The breakfast was exceptional - eggs, sausage, breads, pasteries, expresso coffee, greek yougurt with fruit! There was a lovely courtyard with a small pool to cool off in. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The staff was very thoughtful and kind at this hotel! They decorated our room very very nicely for our honeymoon. Additionally, the room was very elegant and romantic. It was the perfect combination of rustic and modern. The breakfast was also very delicious. The hotel is located in the old town of Rethymno which was a great location for us to explore nearby. We are very happy we stayed at Amalen Suites during our time in Rethymno for our honeymoon!

I have been staying in Casa di Gaga on a short vacation trip and the choice turned out to be perfect. The apartment contains everything needed for a short- and medium-term trip, including a kitchen with all amenities and even a Nespresso coffee machine, ironing kit for clothes, full bathroom set and everything is kept in pristine, mint condition. The apartment has been spotless clean on the day of arrival. The location is in the middle of Rethymno old town, so once you set a foot out of the building, you are surrounded by history and very authentic experience during that very moment. The host has been very warm and kind-hearted and ready to help anytime. I am very thankful for the reception and the hospitality. The memories that this trip has gifted are priceless, and I truly hope to return again sometime in the future. Very well worth visiting and I give my highest recommendation.

The host couple were some of the friendliest proprietors I ever met and I travel a lot both on business and for personal leisure. The owner has a life-long experience in the hospitality business and it really shows. His wife is equally helpful, who speaks multiple languages and is a German native speaker. They both went our of their way to advice us on what to do in the short time we had and assisted us with restaurant reservations. When a motion detector in the room caused the electric plugs to turn off, it was fixed immediately the next day. Breakfast was special in the sense that every morning the host purchased and presented some fresh pastry or typical breakfast food from a local bakery. We enjoyed the closeness of a nice beach, just across the street. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Best experience in all my traveling days. Wonderful hosts Giorgos and Sally made this holiday best possible. Great advices about city and other parts of the island, helpful beyond every expectations. Evli is in great location, peacefull and quiet, but still downtown is 5 minutes ride by car. There is wonderful swimming pool with salt water, seating arrangements in the back of the complex that overlook hills... great for relaxing in any time of the day or night. Everything is just made with great care and it feels at first glance. Room was big and clean with everything that you would need for your stay. 10+ is final grade :)

Whether it was recommending local attractions or helping us while our daughter got sick.. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. The views from the suite are great! The panoramic windows offered sweeping views of the sea.
