Good host, most amenable. A quick call to say what time you arrive and he is there with the keys. He explains how the flat works and all of the equipment. The flat is centrally located and we explored the whole of Guadeloupe from here. The view is breathtaking.

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Lovely place that seems to be in the middle of a forest, even though it is right next to the highway and with the containerport viewable.

Angela was a fantastic host aswell, and a brilliant cook.
We absolutely loved Raccoon Lodge (& the eponymous raccoons)- it was, as we expected, the highlight of our road trip around Guadeloupe & Dominica. Angela made us and other guests feel very much at home. Excellent breakfast. Very easy to find & accessible from airport. Lovely pool. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
The place is awesome, Decor is great, really into the "jungle", waterfall and everything to feel out of place. It's a little moment in a place you won't forget.
The structure is very nice, it has a nice swimming pool, a hot tub, and is surrounded by forest. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the proximity to the airport is also excellent (only 10 minutes). Fine for an overnight stay in transit.
