Communication was good. Check in was easy. Place was clean. Pool was great! Nice quiet location. Lovely pub/restaurant 3 minute drive away. Longleat 10 minutes away. Will definitely be coming again for longer next time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is not our fist visit . We have stayed many times . The hotel has a warm welcome , pleasant reception staff , with cookies on arrival . The bedrooms are comfortable and the surroundings and grounds are lovely . We particualry like using the gym and the swimming pool . This draws us to the hotel along with the restaurant which never disappoints . The staff are so pleasant and accomodating

Accommodating friendly staff were very helpful by storing our bikes in a safe place and finding us food, as the cafe facility was not well stocked choice wise. Nice place and lovely bonus yoga class to attend which along with the hot tub and sauna were much needed after our cycle. Thank you

Hosts were lovely and it was a beautiful property in a stunning location. The kids loved swimming in the pond.

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
This is an exquisite family home which guests are lucky to share. Our room, Pepecorn, had a luxury 4 poster, view onto open fields, a seating area, separate small coffee room and thence on to a spotlessly clean ensuite complete with walk in shower.
We had yoghurt/porridge staters for breakfast followed by the ‘full English’ which was delicious.
As it was early May when we stayed here, we didn’t brave the use of the outdoor swimming pool…

The outdoor space was a treat especially the hot tub and must be used! We had a fab time here and would definitely be back. Massive thank you to the owners for a very warm welcome, they’re very helpful and couldn’t do enough.
A stay is a must!
Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, ideally located in the countryside around Wells. Kitchen is really functional and well-equipped. Large sitting room. Private garden is nice. Great swimming pool as well.
it’s a magical place. it’s peaceful and elegant. The grounds are beautiful and varied too with the lovely pool, fountains, woods including redwoods and a fairy oak. It’s just beautifully tranquil. But added to this, Wells itself is only five minutes away.
