These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Beautiful location, clean and very well organised cottage with a great outdoor patio area. The hosts Nigel and Janet were very helpful. They even have an electric charger! Easy access to Tavistock and surrounding countryside.
Excellent host in Bradley who kindly took our 2 cases on arrival and delivered them to our room ...room was exceptionally clean ...fantastic waterfall shower ...comfy bed ..good free carparking at the rear of the hotel....
It was in the centre of Tavistock and just a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and indoor market. Another bonus was that the hotel had parking.

It’s lovely and peaceful. Good size accommodation with pool table which we love.
Enjoyed the area and walking Dartmoor. The owner is lovely and the dogs well behaved and welcoming.

The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and Magnus provided artisan bread, butter, milk, fresh farm eggs, tea, coffee and condiments which was very generous. Loved having the pool table to entertain us in the evenings especially as the tv reception was very poor/non existent. Made a nice change to not watch tv actually. We loved Magnus’s two dobermans and enjoyed seeing his horses in the fields around this stunning property.
It is finished to a high standard, has everything you need and set in a beautiful location.
Viv is an exceptional host, so welcoming and helpful. He gave lots of great pub recommendations - all of which were superb! As well as suggesting places to visit which we took his advice on willingly.
We just wished we had more time to stay and explore further. We will definitely be back in the summer to experience a different season and make the most of the outdoors!
Location for us was great and the hot tub was lovely. I Loved that there was plenty of storage in all rooms and hanging space for coats. I also loved the well equipped kitchen.
