‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.

beautiful period type property but with lots of mod cons
This was our second stay here, and it was as we'd remembered it - a scenic location (handy for PlymValley parkrun), friendly staff, a smart but relaxed and comfortable hotel. I used the leisure facilities - there's a nice view into the grounds from the gym, and the swimming pool is a decent size. We had a pleasant bar meal in the evening.
Lovely quiet location, great for a getaway. Really good sized room and bathroom, the usual tea and coffee facilities available. Good swimming pool with steam room and two jacuzzi. Well equipped gym
The facilities and the restaurant.
We used the gym and swimming pool that were both excellent. The gym had plenty of equipment.
Lovely dinner in the top floor Marco Pierre White restaurant with beautiful views across the city. Breakfast was also delicious
