This is great place to stay. The house has been beautifully restored and the views are incredible. Hilde and Jan are the perfect hosts and they have put a great deal of passion and energy into this house and created a welcoming, homely and relaxed environment. We did several walks around the house in the morning and early evening which were wonderful and we loved the tranquility and scenery. Thank you, we will be back….

Set amongst rolling hills and almond plantations, Luz de La Luna is perfect for a few days away. Decorated in pretty rustic style, Hilde has thought of everything you need, from essential toiletries to cold drinks, from outdoor seating to a very comfortable bed. We booked dinner the first night ( a tasty simple meal) and planned to have lunch out the second day…… after a quick chat with Hilde over breakfast , she suggested and arranged a tasty cheeseboard and salad for our second evening as a light meal. Perfect! There is a well stocked fridge which you can also use to store your own food/ drinks. Good Wi-Fi, and well signposted local walks…our dog had fun and enjoyed meeting Perro and the neighbour’s dogs. We left feeling very rested and chilled.

Beautiful scenery, quiet location, perfect for walks. The apartments are individually decorated and suitable for a variety of occasions. The Almond apartment is perfect for a romantic gateaway. The Majocar apartment is perfect for a family. We went as a large group 7 people and booked 3 apartments which was perfect. Perfect location for walks. Close to Almeria airport and beach. The restaurant was one of the best we have been to, fresh organic food prepared on the day by James and Mary. Menu has a wide variety of foods.

Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights and the place was amazing, exactly as described. The hosts were very friendly and attentive (nothing was too much trouble) we felt at home and completely relaxed. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and the pool area was lovely and peaceful and beautiful. 100% recommend. we will definitely return 😊

We loved Casita Etherose, the views are simply stunning and the casita is very comfortable and had everything we needed, beds were comfy and the hosts were on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't, everything went so smoothly) but also gave us privacy. Debbie and Mark are the best hosts you could hope for, they were so welcoming and we really appreciated the advice they were able to give to us (we plan to move here this year). We didn't use the pool as we came in winter (we were welcomed with a roaring fire) but the pool and BBQ area is really lovely and we are looking forward to using it in the summer when we will be back, the views around the house are out of this world and the night sky is something to behold. In terms of location, we loved the fact that you are in the country and it is peaceful and very quiet but also just over two miles from an autovia. The casita was easy to find and in a great location for getting around, we went to Almeria, Alicante, Aguilas, Huercal Overa, Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Albox, Cabo de Gato, San Jose and all were easy to get to.

Property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable, also lots of leaflets and magazines with great ideas of places to visit ( all the local markets were listed) Hosts offered help when needed but were not intrusive and left us to enjoy our holiday.
