‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Really beautiful rural farm guesthouse run impeccably by the owner Juan. A perfect place to recharge the batteries in comfort after a week of sightseeing and before a week of fun in Torremolinos. Most comfortable bed we had in 5 weeks of travel. Great big pool to relax by. Friendly dog, cats and multiple horses and ponies. Did I mention the view towards Antequera? Or the terrific breakfast included?
This is a very special place. It is in a beautiful and rural area but close to the lovely and historically important town of Antequera. Our room was lovely, the breakfast was terrific, there is a pool, and animals! Juan, the owner is an extremely welcoming host with great recommendations. Cortijo Carrillo is a bit out of the way but that just adds to its considerable appeal. Thank you, Juan!
Peaceful, isolated location. Very attractive old farmhouse with beautiful courtyard, extensive views and a superb swimming pool. Excellent communal facilities and an incredible choice of healthy options for breakfast every morning. Juan was an excellent host, always happy to respond to any request for information about the surrounding area and facilities available.
Quiet room was spacious, bed comfortable and v clean. Owner very friendly despite our late arrival. Excellent breakfast. Bonus there was a swimming pool in the grounds.

The room was super comfy, breakfast was a feast of delicious homemade jams, cakes and home grown fruits. We had dinner there on our 2nd night (had only planned one night, just had to stay a second) it was delicious too. seriously, can’t recommend this place highly enough, although selfishly I’d rather not, just incase we can’t get a room next time!! Oh, and the views, the horses, the dogs, the swimming pool… the drives, I could go on 😂
This place is a paradise. We stayed there for two nights only and regretted we hadn't planned a longer stay.
The rooms are spacious and clean and beds are very comfortable. The host is very helpful. There is a swimming pool for guests to use. The breakfast is delicious, with a lot of various products, including home-made stuff. The whole area if very peaceful and it is definitely a place to rest properly, surrounded by nature. 100% recommended.
