Have to say this was better than our expectations. We had done a lot of research and settled on Lava Beach Hotel due to the reviews.
Firstly all the staff are great, very friendly and hard working to please everyone. The staff in the bars and restaurants are really attentive and switched on. The food is outstanding with a buffet selection to make your eyes pop… and your belly!... Soo much choice and it tastes amazing.
The room was brilliant with more than you could expect. We had a suite over looking the pool and could not fault it. Very clean and packed with lots of nice touches… very luxurious!
There are 2 pools and an outside jacuzzi. The bottom pool is only 0.4m in depth with 4 built in jacuzzi style loungers and definitely good fun to use. This was a very tranquil hotel especially around the pool, at times you could hear a pin drop. I think everybody appreciated that.
One of the best things is they have a sun lounger policy. You cannot reserve one by dumping things on them before 10am. Either you have to be on it (or obviously in the pool), or they will remove everything. Works a treat! … There are more than enough very comfy sun loungers for everyone all in good positions!
A very clean and modern hotel, yet has charm and warmth. There is a lot of attention to detail which if you watch the staff you will see, even using a spoon & fork to place the serviette's on the table. The Spa is great and shouldn't be overlooked as it has some nice facilities of its own. The 60min back and neck treatment I received was incredible.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was big enough and clean. Hotel is quiet, right in front of the beach, close to many restaurants, to taxi place and to city centre. We enjoyed the swimming pool at the last floor, and the pina colada at the bar was awesome!

A lovely peaceful place to stay. The pool always has room to swim. Every apartment has a little garden or large terrace with a hot tub so many people relax in their own space. The staff are great and very helpful.
Arracife is in walking distance along the sea path. There are decent restaurants in the other direction - on Playa Honda.

Loved the accommodation, great facilities, fabulous seafront apt. The beds were so comfortable, had great nights sleep, bathroom facilities were excellent. Hot tub is amazing. Reception staff were helpful and obliging, Denisa is very friendly and professional. The cleaning staff were thorough and professional. Loved the swimming pool, great amenity. Overall, it was a great accommodation.
The food was really good with exceptionally friendly staff. The hotel also comes with a nice small swimming pool on the rooftop with a pool bar & gym close by also on the top floor.

Comfort! space in public area are very well designed. sitting area on each floor. We stayed in Junior suite, very good sized room and large bathroom. Again, Love the layout of the room. Indoor swimming pool is a bonus. And the bar on top floor is a beautiful place to have a drink and rest.
