Spectacular breakfast, big selection with pleasant service with unbeatable views of the pool, gardens and ocean. You have many places to relax and unwind on the immaculately kept hotel and grounds. It is serene here yet, a short walk brings you to Macao Beach. The best part of the stay was undoubtedly the staff who all welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. Can't imagine staying anywhere else.

We stayed in thw hotel 14 nights. It was wonderful stays. The resort its really big. Everyday they have some activities for the guest, all day long. On the swimming pool valley ball, Pilates, games, the bars inside the pools(everything including, alcohol, cocktails from 11am till 18:00 on the swimming pool!) after you have a bars what is open from 11am till 11pm, disco till 3am.) Food- delicious, you have a big buffet where you can have all kind of meats, pasta, homemade pizza, wock, sea food, salmon, sushi, exotic fruits, ice cream, cakes and lots more. If you wanna tries something else you can go to restaurant what is included too. They have sushi, steak house, French, Italien, Mexican. STAFF : our assistant Alexander and Ray was taking amazing care of us, they helped with organising activities, reservations, room service, everything. Our breakfast ladies: Juana, Elisamar. Always smile on the face, helpful and really friendly 💜 Our favourite bar team: Ricardo, Juan Carlos, Grisel, Edwin, Orquideas. They made us such a amazing coctails and we had so much fun ❤️🎉 AND Luis Bananas who was the animator and our new friend too. BECAUSE of all of this people we had a amazing stay and would be pleasure to come back.

Far from the city, otherwise my friend and I loved everything about the property. Beautiful and clean resort, including the beach. Swimming pools clean, we found the temperature to be perfect. Clean room every single day. Great room service. Tasty drinks. Lunch and dinner was alright, but fantastic breakfast buffet. Adorable and helpful cleaning ladies. Fantastic, warm and including staff - 10/10. Smile on their faces at all times. Security was good, felt extremely safe and taken care of. Swift check-in and check-out. We were allowed to use the facilities after check-out because of late departure. Will definitely be back.

Hotel is full of great staff. We really enjoyed the animation program around the pool (special thanks to José "Popeye" and Braynel). Room is large, recently renovated, and very well daily cleaned. Also, we liked the daily refill of the minibar. Main buffet restaurant Palmyra really surprised us with the wide range of selections (breakfast, lunch). But what makes this hotel extraordinary were superb a-la-carte restaurants (great food and fancy interiors, Limbo with its cocktails is a "must"). Pool has a sufficient size and is surrounded by an appropriate number of sunbeds and a good pool bar with slush cocktails and beach restaurant Las Brisas with a really nice overview of the beach and see. Beach is really nice with many palm trees. During our stay beach was rather clean thanks to well daily maintenance (in fact, much better than in neighboring resorts). Amazing sportbar (snacks, pool tables, air hockey) and coffee shop were just icing on the cake. Definitely return to Ambar on our next stay in Punta Cana.
