Everything was so superlux!! I really-really love Hotel Villa Hügel - it is so pretty, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sooo good and there was lots of food options, staff is so friendly and helpful all the time! And the view - there is no enough words to describe how beautiful it is!!! Breakfast is exceptional, so are the various hotel restaurants. Very courteous and professional staff, with no exception. Although the city centre is not in walking distance, Trier’s excellent public transit allowed us to get around easily. There’s a bus stop in very close proximity to the hotel; it takes 10-15 minutes to get to the city centre. We happily abstained from using our car.

After 3 weeks of travelling this was a lovely place to relax. Hosts have made an excellent apartment with all mod-cons and fully equiped, very clean and spacious. Supermarket with 10 minutes walking and town centre a nice 35 minute walk along the river. Garden was an added bonus with good space and greenery to chill with a bottle of wine.
