‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Very lush, green outdoor spaces with nice pool and children playground. Basic breakfast but nice homemade marmalade. Very big airco family rooms with 2 double beds and sitting area.
Superb beach resort in the best coastal area of Benin. I felt welcome there: the service was impeccable, polite and professional. Celine and Antoinine did a great job to feed me and made sure I was not too thirsty.
Unfortunately, I was there on the job and I could not enjoy the place as much as I wanted. But, again, there was nothing better than to arrive tired and sweaty and take the swimming short and jump into the ocean for an evening swim!
The rooms were nice, very functional and everything worked well.
The location of the place is great. The staff is accommodating. The restaurant doesn't have any local dishes on the menu, but when I asked for them, the staff were happy to prepare them for me. The breakfast was good too. They also help you to organise excursions to La Bouche du Roi. However, it's not advisable to swim on the beach as the ocean there is strong. But you can take a dip in the salty swimming pool, which is great. If you're not in the mood for swimming, you can also relax in the hammocks.
Great restaurant with superb food and super friendly staff, exceptional Negroni;
Pool was right next door with view onto the beach;
They had great seating options right under shading mini huts right on the beach, 10m from the ocean
Guesthouse Bambou Beach is located directly on the beach about 10 kms from the center of Grand Popo village. My room had an ocean view, outdoor seating area and ceiling fans (no A/C). Most of the good restaurants in the area are 7-10 kilometers from the hotel, so it's not the best place to stay if you don't have a car. There is no sign on the road indicating the location of the hotel, but the Google address is accurate.
Top location!Sitting under the coconut trees with a cold beninoise ,catching the sea breezes and watching the fishermen pulling their nets gives you moments of pure bliss.
The small salt water pool is a big bonus on a hot day.
Food served on the openair verandah was delicious,though portions were average and rather pricey.
Was delighted to find a large, clean garden setting with good wifi and friendly help. Pretty bungalows were comfortable and quiet. Swimming pool - large and clean. Amazing find!
the location is really nice by the beach so there’s benefit from sea breeze.
the food was very nice with quite a bit of choice.
swimming pool was a hit too although basic.
we stayed in the garden view section with air-conditioning.
