The homestay is merely 8 minutes' drive away from Chihsingtan Beach and 15 minutes' taxi ride away from Taroko National Park. The lively Ziqiang Night Market is located 15 minutes' car journey away. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the whole place is spotless. The owner thoughtfully provided a well balanced, nutritious and delicious breakfast every morning, homemade and nicely plated. The breakfast was also different every morning of the 4 day stay. My kids loved it. The owners are really friendly, warm and helpful. They made us feel at home and very welcomed. They also helped to recommend drivers, sightseeing, transport and food options. The rooms are soundproof such that we hardly noticed the trains passing nearby. There is a Family Mart and other delicious food options within walking distance. The washing machine at our balcony was a life saver. We would definitely choose to go there again if we visit Hualien.

The beach is not for swimming like many places on the east coast, just keep that in mind :)
