Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. We loved our stay so much, we extended it. The breakfast was phenomenal, the rooms beautiful and the staff fantastic. A special shoutout to Nede at reception, she was so kind and helpful. All the staff really made our stay exceptional. Do note, that since the stay is located within the Medina, you cannot drive right up to it or have a taxi take you to the entrance. It's not a long walk from the entrance though.

Outdoor seating is also available at STUDIO AU COEUR de CARTHAGE HANNIBAL. -location is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood -the squeaky clean shiny marble floors I love. -the bathroom all amenities were included, very functional kitchen if you like to cook your meal but generous breakfast was included. -host was very attentive, helpful and accommodating. you won’t hesitate to ask for help. Thank you Hakim and Carole for the kind hospitality extended. I highly recommend this place to anyone. We will visit and stay here again. Everything was great, place, breakfast/dinners, atmosphere, hosts. Thanks to Dar Douads recommendation we used BOLT app to have fast, traceable and cheap taxi rides all over the city. Strongly recommend to use it’s service from airport which will cost around 20 dinars, not more. There is a great shop nearby to buy really nice honey, nuts, olive oil, etc… check the name of the shop with hosts
