We were helped to our room — an unexpected upgrade to a commanding river view — and introduced to all amenities which encompassed an all-inclusive mini-bar. We paid a visit to the restaurant/bar and were assisted by the most extraordinary Claudia for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were prepared exactly to our liking due to Claudia’s willingness to communicate with the kitchen and the kitchen’s willingness to accommodate us. The next day, breakfast was similarly pleasing. We stayed only one night but that was enough to make us wish we had arrived much earlier. The hotel is a short walk to the dock for Uniworld and other river boats. Staff even offered to take our bags there for us! We love you guys at the Rebello!

Boasting a bar, Oca Oriental Porto Hotel is situated in Porto in the Norte Region region, 700 metres from Campanha Train Station and 1.6 km from Oporto Coliseum. Brand new with an excellent breakfast. Rooms are big and modern. The atmosphere in general is cozy and it makes feel at home. The guys at breakfast are extremely kind. I would like to thank them for the surprise for my birthday. Just few meters outside the hotel there is a bus stop. With bus 403 is possible to reach the Ribeira in a short time. What I appreciated less was the lady at reception. I booked the transfer from airport to the hotel but there was no driver waiting for us. No problem to get to the hotel by taxi (it’s even cheaper) but the lady didn’t even apologise. She even doubted that I booked the transfer (though messages saved confirmed my booking). I would definitely stay again at Oca Oriental

I loved the welcoming feeling the moment I entered the hotel. Check in was super quick and the room had everything one can wish for. Even a welcome note on the TV screen and cold lemon water and a fresh fruit salad. This personal touch was incredibly special and there throughout the entire stay. Furthermore, the hotel adapted to food restrictions in a way I had never experienced before. To all vegans and gluten intolerant people, this hotel tops everything! Fresh fruit, gluten free breads, delicious plant based yoghurt, oat cappuccinos...everything was there! It is special to find this since not even 5 star hotels offer this level of service. The staff was super friendly and always happy to help, give suggestions on where to go and just in general extremely professional and attentive. My mum and I loved this place so much that we are definitely planning to come back again and recommend it to friends and family. Thanks Fontinha team for making our time in Porto unforgettable.
