Set in Ferreira do Alentejo, in a historic building, 48 km from Flour Museum, SOLAR DOS FRADES is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and spa and wellness centre. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 21 km from Represa. The guest house has family rooms. Was very positively impressed with Solar dos Frades. The room was wonderful modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Inês the host was extremely helpful and available at any time, other staff also very nice. The outside pool and jacuzzi space is amazing, just sorry I hadnt more time to stay.

Situated in Almodôvar, Monte Clérigo Casas de Campo offers a pool with a view. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. This is an excellent retreat. What can be better than half a dozen self contained bungalow pods in a rural setting. I only wish we were staying longer than one night. Our pod, and I believe they may all be the same, had 2 bedrooms, shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and lounge opening on to private decking and short walk to pool. As only a year old everything is new and fresh. We had an added bonus that the owners were celebrating their first year in business and invited all to a party of friends and family to celebrate. A very special evening.

Ricardo was super kind and gave great recommendations. Our double room was luxurious with beautiful architecture and a comfortable bed. Since this is in a popular cycle route we got to keep our bikes inside and I really appreciated that! WiFi worked well for my zoom meeting and had good download/upload speeds of above 60mbps.

Almost everything was amazing especially the outdoor space. It is an amazing place to unplugged your self. My kids spent most their time canoeing and exploring the surrounding. The small river was the highlight of our holiday. The location is bit distance so having a car is very important.

The villa also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom was roomy. The breakfast was a fine continental breakfast. The soaking pool wasn't open for the season yet, but we had just finished a very hot bike ride and they happily let us jump in anyway. They also gave us cold drinks when we arrived, a wonderful bonus.

The unit has accommodation in double, twin and triple rooms. The twin room features access for guests with limited mobility. All units come with a cable TV and a private bathroom. The place was very nice, clean and big. They gave us all the amenities that you can have in a five stars hotel. The breakfast was very abundant, fresh and delicious. Mario and his wife were very attentive, we arrived 2 hours later and he was waiting for us. He gave some souvenirs from Oporto, the place where they are originally. He also explained to us the wine process from the area. We wished to stay more time but we had to go to the Lisbon airport next day. If we come back to Portugal, we will stay there again definitely.!
