I was a bit worried about sharing bathroom with 5 rooms but there are two (modern and spotlessly clean) showers and two toilets and to my surprise it was more than adequate. somehow we never even met another person in the bathroom. breakfast is served around a large communal table where one can talk to other travelers.

Free private parking is available and the hotel also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. it is walking distance from the cute little town Straumen. the hostess is super friendly and breakfast is some of the best food I had. all local. you can see an appreciation for detail in every little part of the hotel.

Great place to stop just next to E6. Calm and extremely beautiful place with friendly owners. Room was cozy and the whole place was very clean. Breakfast was good and we also got some good tips to our trip from the owners before we left. Overall lovely place to stay and great value for money.

We booked this place only several hours in advance, intrigued by the word "brewery" and we were not disappointed - our host promptly confirmed our stay, gave us a warm welcome and poured us a good ale. This cozy log cabin surpassed our expectations - comfy common area, impeccable cleanliness and well thought out facilities (due to only one more guest staying there at the time, we had one bathroom entirely to ourselves). Sadly, we didn't have a chance to taste the famed breakfast due to leaving early in the morning.
