Mirador de Catarina is 13 km from San Simian Lodge, while Volcan Masaya is 26 km from the property. The nearest airport is Augusto Cesar Sandino International, 36 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. If you’re looking for a peaceful and very relaxing experience I can’t recommend San Simian enough. Fantastic rooms, gardens, service and of course Laguna de Apoyo is a dream. Daniel the barman was right San Simian is Muy tranquilo!

This place was so cozy and cute and relaxing and tropical and special, I absolutely loved it!

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and garden. Casita café is beautiful with a small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was very quiet and we could only hear birds, trees and the sound of the lagoon. We had a pleasant night sitting on the deck and we watched a wonderful full moon that lightened the lagoon. I truly loved this place, I wish we had more time to stay another two nights. Benjamin is a great host, very responsive and was always available to reply to any of my questions. Miguel and Marta were also great and very polite. The dogs in the property are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the view was delightful.

Very individual design and even with the busy hotel activity in the neighborhood Casa Bella is really calm.
The high rise beds are very comfortable, with very intelligent solution for light switches and fans… very well working aircon.
Kitchen equipped with basic ingredients, fridge with eggs and some drinks… we didnt use it, but it was nice to have the option.
Dogs were not only welcome, they had a water bowl prepared in the common area.
A small welcome board on the door was a very sweet plus to feel at home.
Great to have the option to use restaurant service of Casa Marimba.

Great location and enjoyed the kayak/paddle board rental.
Beautiful place, very nice owner and staff. I think it was a bit pricey considering all, but it is a great lake and location and the facilities were one of the best in Nica. Would give it a 9 happily but there was the issue of cleanliness.
This was one of the best rental experiences we've ever had. The property was absolutely stunning and close to the magical Laguna de Apoyo. The casita was clean and comfortable, and the management was attentive and kind. The only problem was I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning in the future.
The location and it's beautiful garden! If you need to getaway from the world and get lost for a few days. This is your place!

The location was stunning - beautiful gardens and lovely lakefront property so perfect access to swim. Pontoons in the lake plus paddle boards and kayaks all for free use were great fun. View from our room was lovely. Bathroom was nice and very clean, same for our room which was a pleasant temp at night thanks to two fans. Staff were always very friendly
