Jaime is very well versed in history of the region and the region itself so if you’ve got a question or want to learn more, Jaime is your best option! Raúl made sure that our stay was the best, even when we changed the itinerary, he made sure we experienced the best to offer! And the rest of the staff, are pure sweethearts that were always making sure we had the best time! The rooms are impeccable! and trust me, that is not an easy task given the amount of dust you can get up here! the shower is warm and relaxing, and at night, because it was still chilly, we got that light d of stove/chimney that kept us warm like three little pancakes! Seriously, I am not exaggerating, if your plan is to make the most out of Barrancas, make Paraíso del Oso your base and from there they will make your trip much more richer than you could’ve expected or done it yourself! ps. and the food!!! that discada (meat dish but also with options for vegetarians and vegans!) with hand made flour tortillas!! to die for!
