Good location about 600m from the train station and 800m from the old city. Free welcome drink, private onsen, etc. is a nice touch. Room was big and comfortable.
Everything was great—location, hospitality room, room, staff, breakfast, washer and dryer was invaluable. Just a little paint and carpet touch up in rooms and hallways. Would stay here again.
Perfect location close to Shirakawago World Heritage Area, and also to petrol station and convenience store. Friendly staff, and brand new bedrooms and bathrooms.
The price was very reasonable. Free use of espresso machine from 1 pm to 8 pm. An unexpected bonus! The rooms were very comfortable- could do with new carpet, no other complaints. The hotel was so well located - only about 2 hundred metres to the train station and with lots of small restaurants in the nearby streets.
The clean rooms with firm pillows n mattress, the location- quiet, with big convenience store on opposite side of road n petrol station nearby( we drove) and just 10min drive out of town on good roads. The onsen- both indoor n outdoor was great, good variety of jap side dishes for breakfast and some bun n croissant as well for those who need somethibg western, good coffee. And a lovely touch- free ramen or ice cream after 8pm for those who need a snack after their onsen dip
The location, and the staff members were very competent.
The place was new and had great interiors! The location was just a block away from Takayama station. The room was so spacious and offers great views of the mountains. The breakfast set was also good but if you are staying more than 2 nights, it will be repetitive. We would definitely come back during a different season as it felt like you were in a cabin resort!
The hosts were SENSATIONAL! I was welcomed by the most nice elderly lady, she showed and explained me everything even with limited English, I left to go on a stroll, came back to my bad made and my room immaculate. Awesome bath facilities, top notch Japanese breakfast, just don’t pet the cat.
The location was very close to the train / bus station. The amenities included in the room and available at no charge in the lobby were exceptional. The laundry facilities / kitchen within each unit were very much appreciated. The hotel location has several markets / restaurants within walking distance. Above all, the hotel staff is friendly, cooperative and competent. The accommodations were roomy, spacious and functional. I'd return in a minute, schedule permitting.
