There are small shops nearby, the route from the harbor to the accommodation is also manageable on foot (approx. 10 minutes), otherwise tuk-tuks are available for transportation. Village itself doesn't offer you much, but you can walk in 45 minutes to the nearby San Marcos La Laguna, where more life is available. The accommodation is wonderful, we slept with the tent open the entire time. I also recommend the dinner cooked by the owner, it is excellent. There is also an additional bar next to the accommodation where you can eat and drink during the day.

The view is spectacular, the rooms are super comfortable, and we had a lot of fun enjoying the lake with the stand up and kayak that they offer.

The apartment was in a great location and super clean. We could walk everywhere, including the dock, restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was also quick and easy.

Location provides great views of volcano, along with the villages of San Juan and San Pedro. Always a welcome oasis to return to this retreat home after a day out exploring. We would find a different place to enjoy on the property. Very well taken care of and has everything you need.

Amazing view of the lake, safe (albeit lively - bring ear plugs) neighborhood, very well equipped apartment with fully stocked kitchen (even had oil and salt), extremely clean and comfortable bed and mattresses, very convenient location that was walking distance to the piers, restaurants, and tour agencies/hotels that you can book activities with. The host was very kind and polite, and recommended very well priced food, transportation and tour options. The host was also accommodating in allowing the guest to leave luggage in the apartment before and after check in and check out times.
