El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. Just off the popular tourist route between Livingston and the town of Rio Dulce making it easily accessible by boat. There is a games room on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. We absolutely loved to stay in Hotelito! The place is really amazing and the stuff is also helpful. We came by a car, there was safe parking at Bruno ´s hotel in Rio Dulce and then we took a boat to Hotelito. Tim helped us with all. Definitely recommended!

She was awake to let me in when I arrived past midnight, made us all pancakes and coffee in the morning, and let me keep my stuff for a few hours after check out.

Amazing Location! The staff is exceptionally friendly, competent and always helpful when it comes to organzing your activities. The owners are easy going and a lot of fun to talk to. Food is great, too!
Beautiful location with loads of places to relax, friendly dog and 2 cats, every night family dinner, delicious breakfast (try the Mexican and pancakes!) lots of activities and friendly and welcoming staff. The staff Luis y Victor really made an effort to make us feel at home :) We really enjoyed staying here!
Absolutely does the job for a night in Rio Dulce - which whilst not lovely we did find quite fun. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the wifi is good and coffee, water and brekkie all welcome. The dogs and cats are great.
Angela and Rudi were amazing people. I got sick and they got medication for me. The service, the food, the rooms, the dogs and cat... They were all so nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!
Loved being on the water with plenty of outside seating to enjoy it. Staff are helpful and I enjoyed the kids, cat, dog and the turtles swimming around the back rooms! Rope swing is awesome! Dorm room has single beds which is great! Mosquito nets and a fan. Toilet in the room but shower is downstairs. Restaurant has great Mexican food and very reasonably priced.
We had two seperate rooms, beds were super comfortable, shower was great (pressure and hot), beautiful place. Friendly staff, good breakfast, good food, huge bookcase to exchange or pick up books. Great house dogs and a cat! We were picked up from the shuttle by boat and also dropped off. All in all a great stay! And beautiful sunrise from the docks, also good time to go kayaking!
Really beautiful to stay in the mangrove forest. The employees are helpful and nice. They have a resident dog, Masha, which is super cute. Toursandtransports can be organized in the hostel.
Great location 5 min lancha (boat) ride from town and set into the mangroves with nature all around. The staff picked us up from the bus station (at the supermarket) and helped us get to and from town and organised our shuttle to La Ceiba. Reasonably priced Mexican restaurant on site was convenient and tasty as well. Loved the rope swing into the river and the 20 QTZ for kayak hire to get to the Castillo. Hot shower and mosquito nets all around the private rooms. Cute doggo, cat and geese pets.
