The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. The room was excellent, clean, and tidy. The ensuite was very luxurious.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Everything. Usually stay in Keswick town but decided on a change and so glad we ended up here. The hotel is decorated in perfect style, quite decadent, lovely snug and lounge area to see the views. Walks close by and Keswick ten minutes away by car. The hotel is dog friendly and there were a lot of dogs. Doesn't matter to me but to anyone not that keen the dogs go in the dining areas as I know friends of mine would not stay there for this reason , but a perfect spot for the many dog lovers. Lovely to lay in bed and have a beautiful view 😊my room was smallish but honestly big enough as really, how big does one need? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Hiljuti renoveeritud Ouse Bridge House pakub majutust Bassenthwaite järves, Derwentwaterist 15 km ja Buttermerest 21 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, eraparkla ja veespordivahendid. Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.

Whicham Hall asub Silecroftis, Muncasteri lossist vaid 20 km kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade mägedele. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The area is of outstanding beauty and wonderful scenery. The venue Whicham Hall offered us more than we expected, facilities were first class.
