Clean and well equipped. Lovely location nice quiet and well kept site a short walk from restaurant and pub. Plenty of shops and take ways close by. Dog friendly.
Lovely location, rooms, staff and food! The new dog friendliness is fab, our puppy was very happy and we felt supported by staff and guests! A brilliant first weekend away with our new dog. The dog bed, towel and dish in the room was excellent.
The Bell has been beautifully refurbished and the food and staff excellent. We had a dog friendly room, and he was very well catered for too! Dog bed, bowl and treats at the bar!
Restaurant and food was amazing Location is lovely, peaceful and walking distance to the pebble peach Walking distance to old ruins to explore Dogs allowed and dog beds and treats provided Some staff was super nice, others a little prickly
Great value for money. Staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly. Even had a dog menu!! Good food, including breakfast. Spacious room, well furnished and comfortable, lovely bar and restaurant, good beer. Lovely location. Easy parking. Would definitely stay again!
This was a last minute trip to visit an unwell friend. I could not believe what a wonderful place I had unwittingly booked purely because of its location and being pet friendly. Perfect for the dog who was made welcome and although correctly not allowed in dining room, we dined beautifully in the bar and ate breakfast in the garden room. Lovely walks all around this beautiful historic building and its grounds too. Cannot recommend too highly
We loved the location. The property itself was unique, well appointed and comfortable. Most importantly it was fantastic value for money, especially for this part of the country. Hosts answered queries quickly by email and were not intrusive. Despite being pet friendly, there was no hint of dog smell like you can get in some pet friendly properties.
Lovely decor in the main public rooms, very pet friendly, (and bed, bowl and towel for dog) comfortable bedroom with good quality products extras and personal touches, delicious food, and a good selection of wine, good professional service, great location for the Suffolk coast, would like to return, thank-you
The hotel is in a great location by the sea. The rooms although small were spotless and nicely decorated. It’s probably the most dog friendly hotel we’ve stayed in with a dogs water bowl and treat waiting for our Cocker Spaniel. Dogs can also go to dinner and breakfast with you in a separate seating area. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Ellie on reception who suggested dinner in the hotel Indian restaurant, the Indian food was excellent especially the fish curry.
