Originally a cattle drover’s inn, this Highland hotel lies just over 30 miles from the pretty town of Inveraray and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The port of Oban is approximately 30 minutes drive and ideal to enjoy for a day out. The location, the room, the staff the food. Everything was excellent. We have travelled widely and it would be in the top three experiences.

Surrounded by woodland and pretty grounds, each pet-friendly Auchendennan Farm Cottage offers SMART TVs and Egyptian cotton bedding, along with towels, heating, and electricity. Some cottages also include a wood burning stove. Some properties boast a private hot tub and a sauna. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.

Incredible Scottish breakfast and a super nice and welcoming lady. I would suggest to any friends to come here, because I had a such genuine experience that I never found even in 5 stars hotel.
