Located 3 miles from the village of Pulborough, in the Horsham district of West Sussex, Thatched Cottage offers self-catering accommodation for up to 2 guests with a patio, free WiFi and free parking. The pet-friendly property home is 50 miles south west of London and 15 miles from the coast. We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut and really enjoyed the privacy and facilities. We had everything we needed for a short stay. The outside area was also lovely and would be even better in the summer time when it would be possible to make use of the seating and BBQ.

Halfway between Midhurst and Petworth, Halfway Bridge is suitably isolated for a weekend break in the beautiful South Downs National Park.

Its location is also convenient for links to Guildford, Portsmouth, Crawley and Chichester. The leisure resorts of Bognor Regis, Worthing and Brighton are also just a short distance away. Our room was beautiful: spacious, quiet, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is in the adjacent pub, with several options ranging from pancakes to full english, in a lovely and cosy setting. We came by car (good parking available on site), which I would recommend doing as the taxi services in this area are very limited and hard to book. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Would definitely recommend!

It's so peaceful and beautiful. Wow! The accommodation was super neat and clean. A top/ 1st floor flat, a little on the small size, but comfortable for us. We were 3 adults and 2 young kids. The garden and river are a dream. We sat outside whenever we had the chance. Communication with host was prompt and good. Neighbours were really lovely. We used this as a base for day trips to both Eastbourne and Brighton and it was perfect.
