There's a lot to like, staff and location for a start. The room was very clean, comfortable with a good bathroom. Plenty of room for parking, good TV and wifi. The breakfast was excellent, very generous. It really is dog-friendly; there's even a pet owners dining/ breakfast room. Other reviews mention traffic noise but we couldn't detect any. We felt it was sensibly priced with nice facilities.

Lovely location very rustic not for the infirm lovely walks for the dog great value for money and very pet friendly which was fantastic .restaurant was pet friendly but unfortunately not every one who was in eating where dog friendly which was uncomfortable for myself and my husband as we had or 7 year old black lab sass with us but will definitely will be back as the lodges are fantastic and very chilled
Nicely located in a small village about 12 miles from Pitlochry. Staff nice. Room clean. Good shower. Great breakfast. Very dog friendly. 2 mins walk to a large, enclosed park for off lead dog walking. Small carpark/off-street parking.
Great location. Was like a different world with the snow, stunning! Excellent that it's dog friendly. With it being situated on the edge of the woods, it's the perfect dog walking spot. Couldn't beat sitting in the hot tub in the snow gazing up at the stars, perfect 👌 👌 👌 To sum up, we'll be back!! 😁😁😁
very dog friendly as we travel with our dog we sometimes get very annoyed when a hotel claims to be pet friendly but this wee hotel bettered our exceptions and she much appreciated her sausage for breakfast, we also had dinner and breakfast and was excellent would happley return .
It was well located for Blair Horse Trials, being pet friendly was brilliant. Bed was really comfy, room was spacious. Easy walk (with shortcut) into Pitlochry. Was really comfy, cosy and clean, but not so 'fancy' we felt on edge about having the dog there. Would definitely stay again.
Quiet location .. exactly what we wanted. Lovely clean spacious room, dog friendly, comfy bed with lovely bedding. Farm dogs Huxley & Bruce visited regularly which Daisy (our dog) enjoyed as did we. Lovely welcoming hosts, covid-19 restrictions all adhered too, hand sanitiser provided in cottage. Plenty of attractions near by, quiet areas our preference & dog walking areas our choice. Perfect SAFE break away from home, price good & we enjoyed our stay.
