Lovely accommodations in an old historic home in rural France. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the host couple were very kind and gracious. We arrived later than originally expected and they were very accommodating. They invited us for a drink and some pleasant conversation upon arrival which was very nice. The breakfast they provide each morning was great. My 14 year old son, who can be very hard to please, really enjoyed talking to the hosts and we all loved their little dog Pims.

This apartment features a heated pool, a garden and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We stayed in a first-floor apartment with three bedrooms, a large kitchen and a large living room. There was plenty of room for two and a dog. The apartment was nicely decorated. The kitchen has the necessary dishes and equipment. The place was clean.Ver-sur-Mer is a quiet little village that is not so much a tourist spot as part of the Normandy coast. There is a good patisserie and a small shop in the village. Bigger shops in nearby villages. We especially recommend the fish market in the nearby village, which is open every day.

This was such a lovely home in the country side! It was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful!

Located in Arromanches-les-Bains, DDay Aviators is 1 minutes' walk from the seafront. DDay Aviators houses a collection of a aeronautical items dating back from the Second World War. The property is also 100 metres from D-Day Museum and 400 metres from Arromanches 360. Very helpful and friendly staff. WW2 memorabilia around B&B was very interesting and respectful to memory of d day. Great location and comfortable room.

Situated in Bretteville-lʼOrgueilleuse, in a historic building, 8.8 km from Festyland, Bed & Breakfast Chateau Les Cèdres is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a spa and wellness centre and seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna, hot tub and hammam. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We stayed six nights. The Château is well located i.e. nearly direct access to highway leading to main “must see places”. We had a comfortable and quiet room and enjoyed our daily breakfast and discussions with other hotel quests and - first of all - with the host. A lot of energy invested by the host & family to renovate this lovely château and preserve the heritage.

All rooms include a flat-screen TV and some rooms offer views of the Cathedral of Bayeux. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. Extras include free toiletries and a hair dryer.

There is luggage storage space at the property. Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at a restaurant located across the street from the hotel. The room was lovely and clean. For breakfast, there was coffee, juice, breads, yogurts, and American offerings like bacon and eggs. The location is near the cathedral, tour pick-ups, and many restaurants. We walked from the train station but taxis are available. Bayeux is a must-see. Don't miss the famous tapestry.
