The nights are cold in Guatavita, but the heated sheets and comfortable beds mean that this is not a problem. We used the jacuzzi every night to warm up before bed and enjoy the fresh night air after spending time at the communal fireplace. The breakfasts were hot and delicious. The view of the lake and hillsides is stunning.

The yard is beautiful and safe for kids. But. The absolutely best "thing" are the owners, David and Diana, most probably the nicest couple we've met on our travel in Colombia. They will do everything to make you feel at home.
