We knew ‘The Latch’ several years ago for it’s amazing dinners. We just had the opportunity to stay there again as it is now a B&B. The current owners (they bought in 2020) have transformed this place into a jewel, keeping all the original charm. Breakfast is included and was an amazing 5* experience! Lovely location overlooking a marina. We’ll be back! 😊👍

All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom, while certain rooms will provide you with a balcony. All units will provide guests with a microwave. The location, on a cliff facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was fantastic. The cottage itself was very modern, well-equipped for cooking, immaculate with a great shower and deep bathtub. Even in November, the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors are worth throwing open to see, hear and feel the sea air and waves directly below. Hummingbirds visited each day. Everything was very high quality and the staff in reception was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were straight-forward.

At the resort, each room is equipped with a patio with a mountain view. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Wild Renfrew Seaside Cottages also feature free WiFi, while selected rooms also boast a sea view. At the accommodation the rooms have bed linen and towels. We stayed three nights in a two bedrooms and one living room, cottage. The cottage had a breathtaking view from its windows and balconies. Port Renfrew is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at, and our cottage at Wild Renfrew was one of the nicest accommodations. Dipping yourself in the hot tub, which was located on one of the balconies, during any time of day or night, and especially after a hike in Juan de Fuca or any other place around it, while watching the green hills running into the blue water of the sound, is as great as it sounds and even more. All facilities were convenient and the cottage was warmly decorated.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. A daily breakfast featuring local produce, home-baked bread and eggs from resident chickens is provided along with tea,coffee, espresso or capuccino. The owner was really kind and helpful. She informed us that the road we would need to take to continue our journey was closed for renovations following fires. She inquired with the tourist office about available buses. It really helped us a lot. The breakfast was really varied and plentiful. There are 2 very sweet dogs and a cat. Spacious garden to relax. In the morning several squirrels could be spotted.
