Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. Free WiFi is available. The hotel was located in a beautiful spot overlooking the city of Salzburg. The hotel has wonderful charm, with updated features. The breakfast and restaurant were very good! The bus is also near by which takes you directly into old town (less than 20 min ride).

Located in Werfenweng, the Zistelberghof offers an à la carte restaurant, a small wellness area, and a games room. Free WiFi is available.

We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel near Salzburg to make a 1-night stop-over on our way to the South of Europe. For the selected dates this hotel was the only one offering reasonable price. Friendly staff. No problems to stay with pets (we were travelling with a dog). Free parking area with plenty of space. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was nice. No need to look for alternatives. Very clean rooms with new furniture. A huge advantage for families with children: hotel has an own playground to keep your kids busy and excited, while you are waiting for your food in restaurant. Internet connection was stable and reasonably fast.

Opened in December 2012, this resort is located at the foot of the Tennengebirge Mountains, 1 km from the ski lift. Bergresort Werfenweng includes a spa area with indoor and outdoor pools. The spacious rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace. Couldn't have asked for more. The hotel was very nice, room very spacious & clean. The staff was very nice, accommodate our needs. Nice food & drinks. The spa area is what you need it after a hike.

The restaurant serves products from the hotel’s own farm. The most BEAUTIFUL property in Salzburg! If you ever have the opportunity to stay here, do it you will not be disappointed.

Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. Guests benefit from a modern spa area and a traditional restaurant. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. One of the staff told me that it was more than 300 years old. The room was a good size and everything was supper clean. The room was decorated beautifully and the balcony overlooks into the gorgeous garden. The breakfast was served in the garden, which was really magical, and it had a very good selection of vegetarian food.

Each room has a balcony with impressive mountain views and a free minibar, which is refilled daily with non-alcoholic beverages. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski area is 5 km away. Garage parking is possible for a surcharge. Beautifull surroundings, perfect breakfest, friendly and very helpfull staff. Pools, SPA, mountains.... :)
