I loved descovering this beautiful historic town. The peace and quiet of Serenity was awesome. Beautiful maintained garden, sparkling pool to cool down. A true home away from home. Comfortable, everything and more you need. Gordon is a superhost, making sure we're happy and leaving a few extra touches that make you feel so welcome. No loadshedding!! A dishwasher and even a airfryer! Our doggy loved exploring the well enclosed garden space. A beautiful walk in the veld just around the corner from this home and a short walk into town for delicious coffee and meals! Gorden went more than the extra mile when we were delayed by traffic, and even made our reservation for dinner at the local restaurant. Just a beautiful home and host inside and out. From the get-go we had a very pleasant experience. Check in was very convenient since we got detailed instructions on how to go about check in and everything was exactly as instructed and easy to find. The facilities were absolutely fantastic and everybody commented on how you really did not want for everything since there was exceptional attention to detail, down to coffee and rusks in the kitchen. We were sorry that we didn't stay longer but certainly plan on staying there again. I would gladly recommend The Barn!
