Beautiful big house with lots of windows looking out into the gardens and the mountain beyond. Good bird life in the surrounding trees. Great kitchen. Hard to heat during the chilly winter months but we just kept a raging fire going the 2nd half of our stay. Palo, the manager, is SUPER helpful, he really set us up for a successful stay in Hogsback. Our number one tip would be to book dinner at Turaco down the street (only open Fri & Sat night - bookings required); we have been traveling full time for eight years and this is a top five meal we’ve experienced (it’s really an experience) in all of Africa.
