My daughter needed a place to stay while recovering from a dental operation (she lives over an hour from me). This was perfect, just 9 minutes from my own house, n a nice neighborhood, located behind the house of the owner. Horses in the pasture behind, quiet and calm area, just what we needed for her recovery! Impeccably clean, plenty of bedding and pillows and towels.

We had a great stay at the Posada La Serena - it was like staying in a home with amazing hosts. Pretty property with lots of areas set up to sit and relax. Room was comfortable and sharing bathrooms was never an issue. Giovanna and Alejandro are such positive, energetic people - it was a pleasure to spend time with them. And Lolo, their pet sheep. They serve very good food too. It is close to a highway, but the road is not very busy in the day and quiet at night.
The house was in a great location, only a short walk away from the bus terminal & shopping center. It’s a big property, a lot of running space for kids. The view is beautiful as it’s on the top of a hill & can see all of Minas. When we had a couple of issues - the hosts employee Angela came right away and helped us! (Wi-Fi was down). She was great and made herself always available if we needed anything.

Nice private, cozy spot. Comfortable bed. There was a little coffee, tea, and plenty of maté included. We bought some eggs and cooked ourselves breakfast every day. Central location. Host was friendly. Overall, it was a nice getaway.
Christoph is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The property is located in a picturesque secluded area, with animals roaming free. The bungalow was equipped with all necessities with some nice extras like a small pool, grill and huge glass door to enjoy the landscape in the comfort of air-conditioning.
